Democratic Senator is seeking to hire a DC-based Special Assistant. Applicants should be detail oriented, resourceful problem solvers, able to work in a fast-paced environment, flexible, and possess strong written and oral communication skills. This candidate will work closely with the scheduling team to execute the senator’s daily schedule in DC. Primary responsibilities include driving the senator, processing invitations, managing the senator’s correspondence processes, and other additional needs related to the schedule. The applicant must also possess a valid driver’s license. Prior operations or scheduling experience is preferred, but not required. The senator’s office is an equal opportunity employer.
